- How do I personalise my pet's id tag?
After choosing your favourite design, add your pets name in the 'Pet's Name' field. You can add up to four lines of text on the back by adding to the 'Back of Tag' fields.
- How do I clean my pet's tag?
A simple wipe with a wet cloth should be all it takes to get your tag looking new again.
- How do I attach my pet's tag?
Both of our wooden and acrylic tags are supplied with a heavy duty stainless steel split ring which attaches to the D ring on your pet's collar like a keyring.
- Where do you source the branches for the wooden tags?
We always strive to be as sustainable as possible. The wood sourced for our tags is mostly harvested from branches that have naturally fallen from their trees. Alternatively, it is acquired from those tasked with removing invasive pine tree species growing in native bushland reserves and threatening our native forests. Healthy branches are never cut down for the purpose of creating our tags.
- How do I know which size to order?
Check out our handy size chart here. We recommend sizing up if your dog is in the middle of two sizes.
- What material are the dog collars made of?
Our dog collars are made of premium polyester webbing which is incredibly soft and has a breaking strength of over 1700kg.
- What are the benefits of coated webbing as opposed to leather for dog leashes?
We chose to use coated webbing as it matches the look of leather without the same downsides. Besides having a much lower carbon footprint than leather, our coated webbing is waterproof, stink-proof and incredibly strong and durable. In fact, under normal conditions, our webbing will long outlast leather and nylon.
- Will the dog leash smell if my pet gets wet?
Let your hound get dirty and explore to their heart's content- our coated webbing is completely stink-proof!
- Will it still work in extremely cold weather?
Yes! Our coated webbing maintains its flexibility and durability in extremely cold weather conditions.
- How do I clean my pet's leash?
Our coated webbing cleans easily with warm soapy water and a cloth or sponge. To keep your hardware in top condition, ensure you fully dry your gear before storing or placing back on your pet.
- Which hardware option should I choose?
This really comes down to personal preference and taste. Both our matt black and antique brass options are made out of solid brass which maintains excellent durability in all kinds of conditions. Although solid brass does not rust, our antique brass option may develop a slight patina over time depending on the conditions it's exposed to.
The vast majority of black hardware found on pet gear is plated. This means that there is a thin black coating over a zinc base. This type of plating scratches easily and is very prone to rust and breakages. Our black hardware is instead made out of PVD which creates a super tough coating over solid brass. Unlike zinc plating, it is incredibly durable, long-lasting and scratch resistant.
- How do I care for my custom printed leash?
Your printed gear can be cared for in the same fashion as regular gear, but it is important you refrain from scrubbing the design with anything abrasive like a scourer. A gentle wash with mild soap and water and a pat dry is recommended
